Where the Wild Remembers — Feminine Embodiment Retreat Corsica 2026 | Joyce Mol
A feminine embodiment retreat · Corsica, France
Where the Wild Remembers
Seven days of returning — to the body, to the earth, to yourself.
“There is a wildness in you that the world
has asked you to be quiet about.
This retreat is an invitation to let her speak.”
Corsica is not a gentle island. She is dramatic, untamed, perfumed with maquis and salt. She holds something ancient in her cliffs and her silence — a memory of what it feels like to be whole.
This is an intimate gathering of women ready to shed — not just stress, but the story that they have to carry it all alone. Seven luxurious, active days on a wild island. The body remembers.
Corsica · Where the sea remembers
Seven days that live
in the body long after
Breathwork & Ceremony
Cacao ceremony on arrival. Morning breathwork journeys with the bay below. Space to feel what you’ve been outrunning — held, witnessed, safe.
Somatic Movement & Fascia
Slow, deep, intentional. Yin yoga, fascia release, somatic movement — teaching the body to soften its armor and return to flow.
Into the Calanques
A full day on the water. Paddle boarding through ancient granite cliffs into hidden coves. A ceremony at the shoreline. Salt on your skin.
Sacred Pilgrimage
Into the mountains to Casamaccioli, home of Corsica’s ancient Madonna. A walk of silence, offering, and return. Then a sound bath awaits.
Nourishment & Sisterhood
Local Corsican food. Shared meals. Evening circles. The kind of belonging that reminds you: you were never meant to do this alone.
Untouched Beaches
Plage de Saleccia — only reachable by boat. One of the most pristine beaches in the Mediterranean. Time to simply exist.
Day by day
Arrive & Soften
You arrive. You set your bags down. A welcome cacao ceremony draws the circle — tasting the medicine, meeting the women, feeling the island begin to work on you. A shared dinner at the long table. Early, easy rest.
The Body Remembers
Sunrise breathwork on the terrace, the bay spreading out below you. Midday fascia release and somatic movement — slow, intentional, deeply nourishing. The afternoon is yours — a walk through the maquis, journaling, sleeping in the sun. Yin yoga by candlelight as the stars appear.
Into the Wild
A full day on the water. The boat takes you to Plage de Saleccia — pristine, wild, only reachable by sea. Paddle boarding through the calanques — the ancient carved granite cliffs meeting turquoise water. A ceremony at the shoreline. Lunch on the rocks. Salt and sun and something loosening in you.
The Pilgrimage
Morning practice together. Then we drive into the heart of the island — into the mountains, to the village of Casamaccioli, home of the Santa di U Niolu, Corsica’s ancient Madonna. A silent walk. Space for prayer, offering, reflection. We return changed. A sound bath awaits. Then a long, unhurried feast with Corsican wine.
Open & Explore
A softer day. Morning yin yoga and a gentle fascia session to integrate what the body has already received. The afternoon opens — explore a village, find a hidden cove, sit with the sea. The island has her own medicine; let her offer it freely.
The Long Exhale
A deeper breathwork journey — the one the body has been building toward all week. Space to release, to grieve, to celebrate, to feel. Followed by rest, journaling, a long evening in each other’s company. A celebration feast under the Corsican sky with local wine, good food, and the kind of laughter that only comes when women are truly free.
Come Home
The final morning. A closing ceremony — simple, tender, unhurried. The circle closes the way it opened: with presence, with breath, with cacao. Each woman leaves carrying something that cannot be taken back. You leave not as you arrived.
A Private Villa
by the Sea · Northern Corsica
A beautifully appointed private villa close to the sea — gardens, terraces, and views that hold the horizon. Intimate enough for a small circle of women, wild enough that you never forget where you are. The exact location will be shared with confirmed guests.
Feminine places
on a wild island
Corsica is not just a backdrop. She is a co-facilitator. The island holds an ancient feminine energy — in her mountains, in her devotion, in the scent of maquis that rises after rain.
We move through her with intention, letting each landscape do its quiet work on the nervous system, the heart, the body’s long holding. Luxury and wildness, side by side.
- Casamaccioli — Madonna ShrineDeep in the granite mountains, the Santa di U Niolu has drawn pilgrims for centuries. Ancient, earth-rooted devotion to the feminine.
- Calanques de PianaDramatic rose-red granite formations carved by sea and time. Primal, curved, unforgettable.
- Plage de SalecciaWild and pristine. No road reaches her — only the sea. One of the most untouched beaches in the Mediterranean.
- The MaquisCorsica’s aromatic wild scrubland — lavender, myrtle, cistus. Walking through it is a somatic experience in itself.
An ancient
feminine devotion
Corsica is threaded with shrines. In the heart of her mountains lives the Santa di U Niolu — an ancient Madonna that pilgrims have walked to for centuries. Not as tourists. As seekers.
On day four we make that walk together. In silence. With intention. Whatever you are carrying, the mountain holds space for it.
This is not religion. It is remembrance. The feminine has always known how to receive.
